A Short NBA Live 2010 Video Game Review For PlayStation And Xbox

This is a quick NBA Live game review for PlayStation and Xbox. NBA Live is one of Electronic Art's most well known console games. Every year, several sports games are released however NBA Live's annual edition always ends up being among the most popular. The latest version is no different, with its high tech graphics, new jerseys, and resolution, this final edition of NBA Live has garnered very positive reviews.

NBA Live 10 has bonus jerseys, a very first for these games. Vintage jerseys from the 80s and 90s were included as well as numerous alternate uniforms for many of NBA teams. Using bonus codes, even more jerseys and throwback shoes can be used. It is questionable if every NBA team will get new game uniforms but two bonus codes have been unlocked so far and more are probably coming.

The animations in this version received a major overhaul too. The video game boasts faster and more fluid graphics that allow for ultimate play. Details like the in game graphics and basketball courts were made to appear extremely real. It is a little grainy when zoomed in on some screens but overall looks very well. Other smaller graphics like the background and the players are more detailed as well. Unlike previous installments, this year's NBA Live game has a much more realistic background. The members of the crowd were designed to look more real and lifelike. Even the players themselves were give more exact and personal details such as tattoos, hairstyles, and other accessories. The basketball stars in this edition were made to be more easily recognized than previous ones. The game's controls were altered slightly so that it isn't necessary to control the players one hundred percent of the time. Using this auto mode can result in more turnovers though. For those who want to, it is quite possible to expand the control over the players. Game play on this year's NBA Live was made simple enough so that even someone who has never played any basketball video games will still be able to get the hang of it. Actions like passing and shooting are single button functions. Both of the PlayStation and Xbox use the main joy stick on the controllers to move the players around. It is simple to play defense as well, just position one of the basketball players in front of one from the opposing team will result in the sim automatically doing the rest.

The update of the player DNA system from past games has significantly improved as well. The 2010 edition's DNA updates individual player's tendencies and attributes almost instantly. This year's game will also allow users to play real games almost as they happen in the real world. And with the NBA team's rosters and line ups updating instantly in the game, it makes for a much improved Dynasty Mode as well.

This version's soundtrack was revamped and updated to more current artists and bands. This year, there are a lot more songs, which drastically cuts down on the redundancy of music during the training mode and games. The tracks were even programmed to react to the tempo of the games to get the user more involved.

Ps3 Slim Definitely Will Handle 3D Blu-ray

I just hit my head within the ceiling after reading this: The Blu-ray Disc Association has announced that the PS3 will be completely compatible with 3D standards. It is amazing news for Playstation 3 proprietors, who will likely not need to shell out money for a fresh player for 3D movies. According to the newly-released specs, Sony's console will play movies in 3D 1080p, even even though working with any and every single single type of 3D display. That consists of LCD, plasma and projection in full HD, while enabling for 2D playback on both current and 3D players. Adding to the enjoyable will likely be 3D menus and navigation, giving PS3 proprietors the complete futuristic encounter.

The crazier part is the fact that most existing Blu-ray players will not help 3D. That means your buddy's standalone Blu-ray player will likely be useless, even though you are going to appreciate PS3 games and 3D movies on your exisiting console. It is sure to piss off those proprietors but you won't hear me complaining.

Clearly you will nevertheless need to buy a Television to help the 3D capability, but hey, half the battle has alreadybeen won. There's no release date for 3D films yet, but further announcements are particular to follow. In the meantime, PS3 proprietors can rest easy and appear forward about the long term of watching 3D movies with their console.
